What’s a Speck

Astro Physics and Astronomy is all about large numbers.

First think of the distance between Stars. Size of Jupiter. Life of the Universe.

Next think of me – this blog’s author – a less than 6 Foot animal with a life span briefer than that of a shooting star – a tiny speck living on a planet which itself is a speck on the Milky way galaxy, the galaxy which itself is a speck in this Universe.

Calling myself a Speck in relation to the Universe – both from Space and Time – is itself an exaggeration the size of Universe.

The Speck

This speck can be blown away anytime. I have spent 44+ Years on this planet ( as of 2021 ). This blog will be my tombstone in the digital universe.

Hopefully this blog might last beyond this speck’s time. As long as there is internet and electricity – and the AWS account is kept renewed – this tombstone might survive.

Death

Wondering why the ominous tone? I used to avoid thoughts of death. I do not like movies where the protagonists die. Thanks to Sadhguru I am comfortable talking of Death and planning for the inevitable. Do read this book on Death he has written. Gives a new perspective to life.

I used to ponder what happens after I die. Setting up this blog on AWS is the first of the many steps in its preparation.

Are you going to bore me with this blog?

No. I don’t like to be bored. Who wants to be bored? I write this blog for myself. The discoveries I make in this journey. It will be about the adventures of the following

My Mind : Books, Philosophy, Discoveries
My Body : Adventures with the bike, my travels, runs, health hacks
My Soul : Spiritual exploration and my Startup Adventures!
